GECCA Networking Trade Show

On Wednesday, June 16, the Greater East County Chambers of Commerce Alliance (GECCA) held a networking trade show in the Student Center at Cuyamaca College.  This event brings together businesspeople from around East County and elsewhere to share information, network, and possibly make connections to improve the bottom line.  Although there did not seem to be as many Santee businesses represented as at previous events, the evening was still successful.

The trade show took up one large room on the second floor of the Center, as well as one balcony/walkway.  Participating groups included businesses, community groups, political representatives, and more.  Check out some photos from the event.

GECCA Returns

It’s time again for the Greater East County Chambers of Commerce Alliance Networking Trade Show (aka the Mega Mixer).  The event will be held this Wednesday (June 17) from 5:30 – 8:00 pm at the Cuyamaca College Student Center, located at 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway on the south side of El Cajon.  There will be information tables set up by many East County businesses, and many more business owners wandering around.  It is too late to get a table, but you can drop in and meet-and-greet to your heart’s content.  There will be raffle prizes, and there are always some great goodies given out.  See you there!

On Thursday evening GECCA (Greater East County Chambers of Commerce Association) held its May Day Spring Fling Networking Trade Show at the Alpine Community Center.  Several Santee businesses particpated, along with the Santee Chamber of Commerce.  One of the highlights was Rob McNelis’s side business “Bouncing Bodies” – a green screen setup that puts a person’s head on a dancing body.  I really don’t have much more to say, so I’ll just leave you with some pictures from the evening.
