  2. Hello,

I noticed you always seem to post after an event has taken place. How do you keep aware of events? I’d like to attend some of the events you post about, but I’m always finding out about them afterwards!

      Hi Dennis and Everyone Else

I try to keep up with what is going on in Santee, but sometimes I do find out about things at the last minute. I usually put up something before if I know about an event – for example, the Street Fair, the fundraiser at Friendly Grounds Coffeehouse last Saturday (more on that soon) – but if anyone knows of something coming up that people should know about, feel free to send me a message about it and I’ll try to get the info up.

      • Canyon View is hosting a free BBQ, music and movie night on Friday August 7 starting at 5pm. Address is 8824 Cottonwood St, Santee

  3. hi there. I am so happy that I found your site. I’ll be starting a new site in Sept. called SanteeMom.com and there will be an annual events calendar like the one found on momsguidetosandiego.com. If anyone knows of Santee events to post, please let me know!

    Hi Stephen,
My husband is the drummer in a local country band, Whiskey Ridge. They are competing in KSON’s Battle of the Bands this Sunday, Oct 3 at Viejas. Doors open at 6 and they go on at 7pm. It’s free and should be a lot of fun. They play regularly at (Mulvaneys) Wagon Wheel and The Renegade. Hope to see you there!

PS. I love your pictures. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Hello Stephen-
I saw you at South Park Abbey, doing a story on Meliki.
I played about 1.5 hours after her, and didn’t know if you were taking pictures of other performers (or if you were still there at that point). If so, would you have some of me? Plaid shirt. Natural wood Taylor guitar. Standing. Would be interested in buying some of them.
    Thanks.
    JOE
