Taste of Santee – Preview

This Thursday evening is the annual Taste of Santee, at the Union Bank o California in the CVS shopping center at Mission Gorge Rd. and Cuyamaca St.  This event is not just a fun way of checking out the local food scene, although that is part of it.  The main reason for Taste of Santee is to raise money, food, and toys for Santee Santas to provide for needy local families.  If you have a business, or if you just want to support Santee Santas, why not check out this great event.  And to add a little encouragement, here are some pictures from last year’s event…

A great crowd was on hand for the event

There might not have been dancing in the streets, but there certainly was in the lobby

I know the economy is tough, but let’s see if we can make this year’s Taste of Santee at least as successful as last year’s.  If you have any questions, contact the Santee Chamber of Commerce at 619-449-6572.
