Blowing Out Summer

The 80Z All Stars shook Santee at the last Summer Concert of 2008

Thursday, August 28, marked the end of another Santee Summer Concert Series, and the 80Z All Stars rocked the house big time.
The 80z All Stars are a kick-ass band (can I say that…wait, this is my blog, so I can say “kick-ass” if [...]

Bayou Blowout in Santee

Last Thursday, August 21, the weekly Summer Concert featured the Bayou Brothers, a Zydeco band that sounds straight out of “N’awlins.”
This was the next-to-last concert of the summer, and people were more than ready to dance the night away.  There was a whole lotta shakin’ going on down there with all that “musical gumbo” the group [...]

At ease, friends.  Y3K isn’t some new millenium virus for your computer.  What Y3K happens to be is one hot dance band that just played at the weekly Summer Concert at Trolley Center last [...]

Santee Summer Concerts

Every summer Santee and the Santee Trolley Center put on a series of Thursday night concerts at the Center’s amphitheater.  The music, the fun, and the companionship are all free.  If you’re hungry, there are plenty of places to grab a snack or a more substantial bite.  And if your taste runs to coffee or [...]

A Great New Musical
